Update on the Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows Base-to-Base Gondola Draft EIR/EIS:

County Staff will provide an overview of the proposed Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows Base-toBase
Gondola project and the Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact
Statement (EIR/EIS) prepared for the project. The purpose of this presentation is to provide the
MAC and the community with an informational discussion and overview of the proposed project
and the draft EIR/EIS process.

Formal comments on the Draft EIR/EIS may be formally submitted to the Planning Commission either orally
or in writing at its May 24th public hearing at the North Tahoe Event Center, and written comments
may be submitted to
