The Placer County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the “Base-to-Base” Gondola from Squaw Valley to Alpine Meadows.

The proposed 8 passenger gondola will link the base of Squaw Valley Ski area and the Base of Alpine Meadows. What impact this will have on the current Red Dog lift is unknown at this time as it will need to be relocated to accommodate the California Express base station.
