It surely isn’t a surprise that for decades, everyone who lives in or has visited our community has experienced the inconvenience and aggravation related to traffic throughout the region—both during winter and summer. To reduce in-valley traffic, make getting around Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows easier, and link up with existing regional transit services to get to Truckee and Tahoe City, the Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows community needs a local transit system that provides service throughout the resort and at times when they do not currently exist.
